Incident Response Senior Consultant

About the role

Engagements range across many customers, with intrusion investigations run alongside project leads and outside counsel. The work calls for someone who can operate alone with customers and also mentor others on the team.

What you will do

• Join the technical team on incident response engagements
• Build and apply new methods to hunt attackers across large data sets
• Carry out intrusion investigations under project leadership and outside counsel
• Do host or network forensics on Windows, Mac and Linux systems
• Help write and present reports, findings and recommendations to customers, regulators and legal counsel

What they look for

• Experience running or taking part in incident response investigations, including nation state, e-crime and hacktivist threats
• Background using forensic tools to scope and size a compromise
• Knowledge of network protocols and tools such as Zeek or Suricata, and skill reading network logs
• Ability to reverse engineer malware to understand what it can do
• Comfort working as an individual contributor and dealing directly with customers
