Incident Response Senior Consultant

About the role

Consultants join engagements that often involve outside counsel and legal stakeholders. The team works with very large data sets and expects people to lead investigations and mentor others.

At a glance

What you will do

• Lead incident response engagements from start to finish
• Build and apply new methods to hunt for attackers across large data sets
• Carry out host and network forensics on Windows, Mac and Linux systems
• Do basic malware analysis and write clear reports for customers, regulators and lawyers

What they look for

• Team leadership experience in a matrixed consulting setting
• Incident response work on targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organised crime or hacktivists
• Computer forensic analysis using several tools to scope a compromise
• Network forensics knowledge, including protocols and tools such as Bro or Zeek

Nice to have

• Public speaking or writing that shares industry knowledge
