Infusion Reimbursement Specialist

About the role

The role handles claims processing for infusion services, ensuring clean submission and timely resolution of denials in line with billing rules and HIPAA. It involves close contact with payors, providers and internal teams.

What you will do

• Verify that all documents needed for accurate billing and claims are received and valid
• Submit insurance claims accurately and on time to government, non-government and third-party payors
• Research claim denials and resolve associated accounts receivable promptly
• Contact provider representatives, customer service staff, pharmacy staff and case managers by phone
• Coordinate documentation to meet payor requirements and share information with internal and external parties
• Apply understanding of benefits verification, prior authorisation, date spans and HCPC unit calculations

What they look for

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with Bright Tree, CPR+, CareTend or WeInfuse software

Nice to have

• Two or more years of directly related infusion and durable medical equipment experience
