Insurance Expert, AI Training and Evaluation

About the role

The company is running an AI training and evaluation project and needs insurance specialists to craft demanding underwriting and claims tasks and to judge how well models handle them. Work is task-based and judged on rigour rather than volume.

What you will do

• Design complex underwriting scenarios with clear, defensible model answers
• Build claims cases involving coverage, exclusions, policy wording or fraud signals
• Review AI-generated decisions line by line for accuracy and reasoning
• Spot misread wording, missed exclusions and wrong risk calls
• Write clear rationales explaining each evaluation

What they look for

• At least three years of hands-on underwriting, risk assessment or claims experience
• Deep knowledge of how risk is priced and claims are decided
• Ability to read policy conditions, exclusions and endorsements closely
• Precise writing that states exactly what is wrong and why
• Reliability in meeting deadlines for task-based work
• Low tolerance for plausible but incorrect output
