IT Support & Systems Engineer

About the role

A hands-on technical role covering a mixed fleet of devices, combining day to day user support with automation of device setup and identity management.

What you will do

• Configure and protect company devices through mobile device management tools such as Kandji, Jamf Pro or Ivanti
• Build and maintain deployment scripts in Bash, Zsh and PowerShell to streamline enrollment, software installs and settings
• Administer user accounts, permissions and group policies in Active Directory and Google Workspace Enterprise
• Keep directory integrations, single sign-on setups and access controls running smoothly
• Handle second and third tier troubleshooting for macOS, Windows and Linux users, on site and remote
• Document IT procedures, track hardware assets and add to internal knowledge bases

What they look for

• Advanced administration skills for macOS and Windows 10 and 11, with command line familiarity and basic Linux troubleshooting
• Proven record designing and running zero-touch provisioning with an MDM platform
• Strong scripting ability in Bash or Zsh for Mac and PowerShell for Windows
• Hands-on work with local or hybrid Active Directory, including group policy objects and security groups
• Excellent customer service and the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical colleagues
