ITIL Automation and Orchestration Engineer

About the role

Designs automations and orchestration workflows that modernise IT service delivery across defense programs. The role integrates systems to cut operational friction and speed mission outcomes.

What you will do

• Build automated workflows for change, incident, request and CMDB processes
• Integrate service management platforms, cloud services, monitoring tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Create reusable automations that reduce manual effort and improve service quality
• Translate ITIL processes into practical automated workflows with service owners
• Implement orchestration linking infrastructure, applications and support systems
• Standardise automation practices across modernisation efforts

What they look for

• Strong experience with ITSM platforms, with ServiceNow preferred
• Hands-on work building automations, REST integrations and workflow orchestration
• Solid grasp of ITIL processes and service management fundamentals
• Strong scripting in Python, JavaScript or PowerShell
• US citizenship with an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation certification or higher
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub or similar
• Background in enterprise architecture, CMDB design or process optimisation

Pay

USD 144,500 to 195,500 per year
