Loan Officer Assistant

About the role

A full-time assistant role supporting loan officers through document collection, client communication and file preparation for processing and underwriting.

What you will do

• Help loan officers collect and check application documents
• Contact clients to gather missing details and share status updates
• Organise loan files ready for processing and underwriting
• Keep records accurate and follow company policy and regulations
• Work with other departments to move approvals forward
• Answer questions from clients, agents and other parties promptly

What they look for

• Prior experience in loan processing or an administrative position, ideally in mortgages
• Careful with details and able to juggle several tasks at once
• Strong spoken and written communication
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and mortgage processing software
• Works well alone and within a team
• Familiarity with Encompass is preferred

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting rules and loan procedures
