Local Digital Marketer, Japan (Contractor)

About the role

A hands-on contract role supporting digital marketing in the Japanese market. You turn regional strategy into local campaigns and report on their performance.

What you will do

• Run local digital campaigns aligned with regional strategy, budget and timelines
• Adapt regional campaigns to Japanese customer behaviour, culture and channels
• Manage and optimise paid campaigns on local and global advertising platforms
• Create and localise ad copy, social, landing page, email and short video content
• Generate leads through paid media, campaigns, landing pages, forms and events
• Monitor metrics such as impressions, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversions and ROI, and report with recommendations

What they look for

• Native-level Japanese and strong professional English
• Experience marketing to Japanese B2B audiences
• Familiarity with Japan's digital advertising ecosystem
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, agencies and external partners

Nice to have

• Background in electronics, manufacturing, engineering or another technical B2B sector
