Manager, Tax Operations & Compliance

About the role

Serve as the primary internal tax resource, running day-to-day tax operations, compliance coordination and business support while working with outside advisors.

What you will do

• Own the daily tax function and compliance calendar, ensuring filings, payments and registrations are timely and accurate
• Manage multistate indirect tax compliance, including gross receipts, excise and business tax returns and sales tax data
• Maintain the state nexus and filing obligation profile using sales, payroll, inventory and operational data
• Coordinate new registrations and filing changes as the business footprint grows
• Strengthen transaction tax processes and controls, including exemption certificates and tax configuration checks

• Hands-on experience in tax operations and compliance, including indirect tax
• Familiarity with multistate nexus and filing obligations
• Experience coordinating with external tax advisors
• Ability to partner with accounting, finance, sales and product teams
