Member of Technical Staff, Finance Research

About the role

A full-time research role for finance specialists to advance work at the meeting point of AI, financial reasoning and agentic systems. The person will shape how advanced AI is measured across complicated financial workflows.

What you will do

• Create and refine evaluation frameworks for AI systems used in financial settings
• Build benchmark suites, scoring methods, rubrics and research-grade protocols
• Study financial reasoning, decision making and workflow automation through applied research
• Turn findings into measurable gains in AI system performance
• Curate datasets, test cases and benchmark environments reflecting real enterprise finance
• Analyse model behaviour, failure modes and reasoning patterns to guide future research

What they look for

• Deep expertise in investment research, capital markets, risk, corporate finance, accounting or financial analysis
• Proven record of rigorous research, analytical methodology design or evaluation framework building
• Ability to turn ambiguous financial problems into measurable research questions and criteria
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• An MBA, CFA or comparable advanced professional credential may also be considered

Pay

USD 400,000 to 800,000 per year
