What you will do
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain CICS Transaction Server and related software
- Apply vendor patches, fixes and new releases, often with SMP/E
- Monitor CICS performance, spot bottlenecks and tune regions to meet service levels
- Analyse performance data with tools such as Intellimagic, RMF and BMC Mainview
- Debug complex system and application problems, including system dumps
- Work with application developers and software teams to resolve issues
