Open Source Code Licensing Contributor

About the role

Owners of existing code repositories can submit them for assessment and license the source code for a fee. The process values repositories without requiring a traditional development engagement.

What you will do

• Submit a repository for an initial check of its licensing potential
• Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and acceptance criteria
• Look into licensing options if the repository qualifies
• Get paid under the agreed terms once a transaction closes

What they look for

• Software development experience or ownership of an existing product, application or repository
• Access to original repositories such as discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools or self-built software
• No third-party material included that you are not allowed to sublicense
