Patrol Boat Product Line Item Manager

About the role

A remote item management role supporting patrol boat operations, keeping mission-essential equipment available through forecasting, procurement and stock control.

What you will do

• Maintain stock levels of service-specific items to support supply across the fleet and make efficient use of funds
• Forecast short and long term requirements, including multi-year projections, and establish or procure new items in the supply system
• Develop procurement plans accounting for lead times of up to 24 months and select suppliers using historical performance data
• Coordinate material support, resolving quality and supply deficiency reports
• Monitor funding status, prepare cost estimates and supply data for budget justifications
• Initiate disposal and material return processes, reviewing excess property lists for reuse

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree
• At least four years of recent relevant item management experience with the USCG SFLC
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a background check and CAC
• Ability to remain seated or standing for most of a shift and perform repetitive keyboard work
• Close-range vision for reading documents and monitors over long periods
• Ability to lift light items and move short distances within an office
