What you will do
- Track payment KPIs and metrics to spot anomalies, new problems, and chances to improve
- Study transaction data and trends, produce reports, and suggest ways to lift performance and revenue
- Diagnose payment and integration faults with API calls, logs, Postman, browser dev tools, and monitoring
- Help configure payments and refine transaction routing using performance data and business needs
- Run ad hoc analyses for business initiatives, product work, and client requests
- Share findings and recommendations with technical and business audiences
What they look for
- English at B2 level or above, able to explain insights in presentations and written reports
- Solid SQL abilities, covering query tuning and database performance optimisation
- Familiarity with HTTP, APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, and web tech, plus hands-on Postman and browser dev tools
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with Tableau preferred
- Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modelling
- Strong analysis and problem solving, a sense of ownership, and cross-team collaboration
Nice to have
- Grasp of payment flows, card schemes, merchant needs, and transaction routing
- Coding or scripting experience, including API work
