People and Culture Specialist, Employee Relations, Leave and Accommodations

About the role

A specialist role handling employee relations, leave and accommodation cases for a multi-state workforce. The person partners with managers and staff to resolve workplace concerns and keep decisions documented.

What you will do

• Run employee relations cases end to end, from intake and fact finding through findings and follow up
• Coach managers on fair, consistent steps for performance, conduct, attendance and conflict issues
• Keep confidential case records accurate and current, tracking open actions and deadlines
• Handle leave and accommodation requests under ADA, FMLA and state or local rules, coordinating the interactive process
• Track changes in employment and leave law across jurisdictions and recommend policy updates
• Lead approved people and culture initiatives and build practical procedures and templates

What they look for

• Experience managing employee relations cases and workplace investigations
• Working knowledge of ADA, FMLA and state or local leave laws
• Sound judgment to resolve routine matters and escalate higher risk promptly
• Strong documentation and communication skills with managers and employees
• Ability to work independently within established policies
