Postal Clerk (Remote Contract)

About the role

A short term remote contract reviewing sample postal customer questions and writing grading rubrics so AI answers about mailing services can be checked for accuracy.

What you will do

• Review sample postal questions and flag any that do not sound like real customer enquiries
• Cover tracking, missing or damaged mail, address changes and forwarding, and international mail and customs forms in the rubrics
• Assess AI generated answers against the rubrics and flag errors, gaps and outdated guidance
• Send clear written feedback to the project team while working asynchronously

What they look for

• Current, former or retired frontline postal experience as a clerk, sales and service associate or retail associate
• At least one year helping customers face to face at a post office counter
• Based in the United States and able to start quickly with 15 to 25 hours a week
• Clear and precise writing

Nice to have

• Experience with international mail and customs paperwork
• Experience handling claims for missing or damaged mail
• Experience writing guides, FAQs or training materials
• Experience serving diverse customers, including rural and non English speaking communities
