Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Deliver primary care to a panel of patients, blending in-clinic visits with occasional virtual consultations. Join a clinical team focused on accessible, preventive and chronic care.

What you will do

• Care for a patient panel covering acute, chronic and wellness visits
• See patients at clinics or testing sites and handle some telehealth appointments
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning
• Coordinate daily with on-site colleagues and virtual clinical teams
• Apply your clinical training and carry out in-office procedures
• Obtain extra state licenses and credentialing for virtual primary care

What they look for

• Graduated from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program with national certification
• Licensed in California by the start date
• At least two years of outpatient primary care in the last five years, or one year plus a primary care fellowship or urgent care experience
• Demonstrated commitment to human-centered primary care

Nice to have

• Experience inserting IUDs and Nexplanon and performing colposcopy
