Principal Delivery Manager, Portfolio

About the role

Owns delivery across portfolio management, shaping how credit line decisions and customer progress programs are planned, sequenced and delivered. Sets the standard for a newly formed delivery team.

What you will do

• Build the delivery strategy and model for portfolio management, covering planning, tracking, review and executive communication
• Coordinate across every team portfolio management touches, surfacing dependencies and solving complex cross-team problems
• Define the engagement model, including execution and release planning and alignment with leadership
• Set delivery standards and coach fellow delivery managers as the practice takes shape

What they look for

• Comfort starting without a playbook and defining what good looks like, then testing and refining it with teams
• Ability to see connections across teams and anticipate dependencies before they cause delays
• Sound sequencing and priority calls with clear reasoning
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on delivery trade-offs and bringing clear recommendations
• A recognised voice on delivery practice who helps define performance metrics
• Coaching and leading other delivery professionals by example
