Principal Software Engineer and Architect

About the role

Own the reference architecture behind enterprise AI and cloud systems, covering model hosting, vector search, data platforms and API orchestration. The role balances secure reusable patterns with room for experimentation.

What you will do

• Set the end to end reference architecture for AI, storage and data systems across Azure AI services, Databricks, Fabric and Snowflake
• Create integration blueprints for retrieval augmented generation flows, data pipelines, agent frameworks and an enterprise GPT solution
• Define standards for deploying and versioning models, managing prompts and collecting telemetry
• Build scalable cloud environments for training, evaluating and running models, including vector database design
• Design event driven pipelines and automation with Azure Functions, Logic Apps and API Management
• Lead architecture reviews and align designs with security, HIPAA and responsible AI rules

What they look for

• Hands on architecture experience with Azure AI services, Azure AI Search, Databricks or Fabric and Snowflake
• Track record designing retrieval augmented generation workflows and data pipelines
• Knowledge of model deployment, versioning, prompt management and telemetry practices
• Experience with vector databases and high availability, cost aware compute and storage for AI workloads
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps and API Management
• Understanding of compliance and responsible AI requirements in a regulated setting
