Product Development Project Manager, Consumer Products

About the role

Keep consumer product development organized from concept to launch by owning costing, pricing, timelines and project plans, and by connecting an overseas product team with Sales.

What you will do

• Maintain the product cost calculator covering materials, manufacturing, packaging, freight and landed costs
• Build and update pricing models that support margin targets and sales decisions
• Create and manage development timelines and Gantt charts across several projects
• Coordinate daily with the China team on samples, approvals, revisions and production milestones
• Keep Sales informed about product status, launch dates, costs and changes
• Flag delays, cost shifts and risks early and propose fixes

What they look for

• Track record managing timelines from concept through sampling, production and launch
• Solid understanding of product costing, pricing and margins
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for building cost models
• Experience with Gantt charts and project plans in tools such as Smartsheet, Monday, Asana or MS Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organization
