Product Development Project Manager, Consumer Products

About the role

A product-focused project manager keeps development organized from concept to launch, owning costs, pricing, schedules and plans. The role links an overseas product team with Sales so everyone knows each product's status and timing.

What you will do

• Maintain the cost calculator covering materials, manufacturing, packaging, freight and landed costs
• Build and refresh pricing models that support margin goals and sales decisions
• Create and manage development timelines and Gantt charts across several projects
• Coordinate daily with the China team on samples, approvals, revisions and production milestones
• Keep Sales informed about product status, launch dates, costs and changes
• Spot delays, cost shifts and risks early and propose fixes

What they look for

• Track record managing timelines from concept through sampling, production and launch
• Solid grasp of product costing, pricing and margins
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for building and maintaining cost models
• Experience with Gantt charts and project plans in Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, MS Project or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organization across many products at different stages
