Product Manager

About the role

Own the in-store Android point-of-sale terminal that merchants use for every sale. The role combines store research, roadmap direction and shipping work with engineering.

What you will do

• Set and defend the roadmap for the register app, turning direction into a sequence of releases
• Balance merchant escalations, platform work and longer term bets, scoping and sequencing with engineering
• Spend time in stores with merchants and staff to learn real needs and behaviour
• Turn conflicting merchant feedback into clear requirements focused on problems and outcomes
• Ensure the app copes with peripherals, unreliable networks and busy store pace
• Own releases end to end, including rollout, communication and incident response

What they look for

• At least five years of product management experience
• Ability to make independent decisions and take accountability for them
• Skill at writing requirements that describe problems and outcomes
• Comfort working closely with support, onboarding and go-to-market teams
• Ability to define success metrics and track adoption after launch
