A field veterinary role supporting a canine and equine product portfolio through customer consultation, education and promotional review. The veterinarian also trains sales staff on technical product details.
What you will do
- Answer veterinarian inquiries passed on by sales or pharmacovigilance within set guidelines
- Deliver product education talks to clinics, veterinary schools and continuing education events
- Train new and existing sales staff on products and competitor offerings
- Review promotional and medical content for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Complete assigned medical reviews for committees on time in the validated system
- Support medical affairs and R&D in evaluating pipeline projects and lifecycle work
What they look for
- DVM or VMD with at least three years of clinical canine or equine practice
- Current licensure in at least one state
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-starting and able to juggle multiple projects
- Experience in sales or a teaching or training setting
- Excellent computer skills
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry
- Board certification
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance
