Project Developer (Manager / Director)

About the role

Own data center power projects from first site screening to commercial operation. The role combines land, grid interconnection, permitting and deal work in a fast-moving startup setting.

What you will do

• Run projects end to end, keeping delivery on schedule and within budget while meeting quality targets
• Handle land acquisition and leasing, landowner ties, surveys and title work, and clear encumbrances with counsel
• Lead grid interconnection, utility liaison and the electrical path for large-load facilities
• Turn study findings and limits into siting and commercial choices
• Direct technical, financial, permitting, environmental and real estate diligence and keep stakeholders aligned
• Work with executives, development and strategy leads, consultants, sales and operations to move projects ahead

What they look for

• Five or more years at manager level, or eight or more at director level, developing utility-scale energy, storage or data center projects
• Hands-on record of personally running the critical path on live projects, not only supervising others
• Broad development background across land, interconnection, engineering and deal execution
• Experience managing complex ties with enterprise customers, utilities, engineers and public officials
