What you will do

• Review medical records, diagnostic studies and prior treatment, and take relevant history with a focused physical examination
• Analyse the medical evidence and give objective opinions within your specialty, answering the medical-legal questions raised
• Prepare accurate, thorough and well-supported QME reports that follow California DWC rules and requirements
• Meet report completion and turnaround expectations, and take part in supplemental reports, depositions or testimony when appropriate
• Maintain current QME certification and professional credentials, and communicate professionally with the support team

What they look for

• California board certified physician licensed in the state
• Interest in becoming a QME, with no prior QME experience required
• Willingness to follow California DWC rules, regulations and QME requirements
• Commitment to documentation, professional standards and report turnaround expectations
