Own how software changes reach production across worldwide regions, coordinating releases and change management while building an evidence trail for audits. The role is hands-on, maturing the process as well as running it.
What you will do
- Guide releases through pre-production and user acceptance testing, settling environment clashes and watching for drift from production
- Own the change control and its audit evidence for internal and external auditors and for bank client reviews
- Run post-release checks, publish release notes and report deployment frequency, change failure rate and rollback rate
- Work with engineering and DevOps to strengthen CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
What they look for
- Five to seven years in release management, change management, DevOps or similar, with at least three in an engineering-adjacent function
- Experience setting up or maturing a release and CAB process, not just following one
- Working knowledge of Jira and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling
- A strong communicator who upholds process while remaining a pragmatic partner to engineering
- Availability during US hours, with occasional deployments on India hours
Nice to have
- Multi-region or global deployment experience
- Background in fintech, payments or banking technology
- Familiarity with ITIL or a comparable framework
