Remote Patient Intake & Care Coordinator Lead (Mental Health)

About the role

Guide people seeking help for depression and other mental health concerns through intake, insurance checks and scheduling. Own the patient experience and grow toward a team lead role.

What you will do

• Handle patient calls, emails and messages with compassion and record details accurately
• Explain services, guide patients through intake and schedule evaluations and appointments
• Coordinate appointments, authorizations and documents with providers
• Keep intake forms, consents and CRM or EMR records accurate
• Follow up with patients and re-engage those who pause treatment

What they look for

• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatry
• Confidence with high volumes of phone calls to patients and insurers
• Knowledge of U.S. commercial insurance, verifications and prior authorizations

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM, EMR or EHR systems
