Suits a PhD student or recent graduate who wants hands-on work on AI safety and evaluation inside a big media company. The lab builds tools and methods for fairer, more transparent AI systems.

At a glance

What you will do

• Help build the post-training and evaluation setup for a new multimodal model
• Fine-tune models with supervised and reinforcement learning methods such as SFT, RLAIF and RLVR
• Write custom metrics to compare how different fine-tuning approaches perform
• Help build tools that find and reduce risks in generative AI

What they look for

• A PhD in computer science, machine learning or a related field, finished or in progress
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning LLMs or VLMs with reinforcement learning
• Comfort with LLM and VLM tooling, API integration and prompt engineering
• A grasp of machine learning basics and an interest in responsible AI

Benefits
