Reservations Sales Agent

About the role

Remote contact centre job with a six week training period and a set schedule that includes weekends. Pay starts hourly and moves to a lower base plus incentives after the first 90 days.

At a glance

What you will do

• Answer incoming calls from guests who purchased a promotional vacation offer
• Help callers choose and confirm travel dates and answer general questions
• Use the central reservation system to book and confirm reservations
• Keep customer satisfaction high and handle escalated service issues
• Retain packages and save sales when guests want to cancel

What they look for

• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to work flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends
• One or more years in customer service, reservations or a similar role
• Call centre experience and comfort with Microsoft Office are preferred

Nice to have

• Sales experience is a strong plus

A typical week

• Four weekday shifts from 12:30pm to 9pm Eastern
• A Sunday shift from 10:30am to 7pm Eastern
• Weekend availability is required

First 90 days

• Six weeks of training: class sessions weeks 1 to 3 from 9am to 5pm Eastern
• Academy weeks 4 to 6 from 11am to 7pm Eastern
• New hire pay of $18.00 per hour during the first 90 days
