Risk Analyst (Forex / CFD Brokerage)

About the role

Oversee market and client risk in a forex and CFD brokerage, focusing on real-time exposure monitoring, trading risk analysis and risk controls. Collaborate with the dealing desk and other teams to protect trading performance.

What you will do

• Analyse net exposure, concentration and volatility risk, and portfolio performance
• Investigate abusive or high-risk trading behaviours such as latency arbitrage and toxic flow
• Develop risk flags, client segmentation and risk scoring for high-risk accounts
• Define leverage limits, margin requirements and exposure thresholds
• Prepare daily exposure reports, dashboards and incident analysis for management

What they look for

• At least three years of risk management experience in a forex or CFD brokerage, prop trading or similar environment
• Hands-on experience with MT4 or MT5 and trading or risk monitoring
• Understanding of trading abuse patterns including toxic flow, latency arbitrage and scalping
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills for large trading datasets
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced trading setting

Nice to have

• Experience implementing risk rules or alerts via BI, SQL, Python or internal tooling
• Familiarity with liquidity or prime brokerage setups and hybrid A-Book/B-Book models
• Prior work in regulated environments such as CySEC, MFSA or SCA
• Experience designing bonus or promotion risk controls and eligibility frameworks
