Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Join a developer tooling and AI enablement team to help engineering teams adopt AI agents in their daily work, from coaching to running workflows in production.

What you will do

• Coach developers through workshops, pairing and hands-on guidance on context, prompts and agent-ready tickets
• Act as the contact point for teams, gathering blockers and spreading working practices across the organisation
• Build AI workflows with development teams, covering bug fixes, code reviews and tests on real tickets
• Prepare repositories for agents with context files, rules, skills and automated validation checks
• Extend the internal agent platform and its links to issue tracking, code hosting, docs and search
• Operate workflows in production, tracking monitoring, cost, result quality and scorecard data

What they look for

• Several years of software development experience with real products shipped beyond prototypes
• Clear communication and a strong drive to share knowledge and enable other engineers
• Understanding of LLM practice, including context engineering, tool calling and agentic workflows
• Ability to read unfamiliar codebases and work out what context an agent needs
• Experience integrating APIs, tools and data sources, plus fluency in German and English
