Senior Creative Video Strategist (Paid Ads)

About the role

A remote creative role writing, directing and producing direct response video ads for consumer brands in supplements, pet food and beauty. The work spans ideation through testing and optimisation across social and video channels.

What you will do

• Oversee creative execution of short and long form marketing videos using a test and learn approach
• Conceptualise angles, write scripts, supervise on-set execution and guide editors on final cuts
• Conduct documentary-style on-camera interviews with brand experts and customers
• Direct videographers on asset gathering, locations and b-roll shoots
• Analyse performance data and apply insights to scale video optimisations
• Mentor a junior story producer and report on brand performance to creative leadership

What they look for

• Exceptional non-fiction storytelling skills, such as documentary filmmaking or broadcast journalism
• Exceptional copywriting ability
• Mastery of creative leadership on set
• Five to seven years writing and directing in a visual medium
• Management and mentorship experience with a record of success

Nice to have

• Eight to ten years writing and directing, ideally with advertising or marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in writing, film or a related field
