Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Threat defense and security engineering sit in one role, with authority to set technical direction. The engineer works with IT, legal and business leaders to cut risk across the company.

At a glance

What you will do

• Lead investigation and containment of phishing, account takeover, endpoint and network threats
• Triage alerts, dig into odd sign-in and email activity, and document root cause for leaders and auditors
• Design security controls across endpoints, networks, identity, cloud, applications, data and AI systems
• Run major incident response with IT, legal and outside partners, and test readiness with tabletop exercises
• Take part in an on-call rotation for escalation coverage

What they look for

• Hands-on experience with detection and response across endpoint, identity, email and network data
• Knowledge of secure design methods such as least privilege, zero trust and segmentation
• Skill at securing cloud and hybrid infrastructure with configuration standards and posture management
• Ability to automate security controls and workflows
• Experience with forensic evidence collection and legal hold support

Nice to have

• Familiarity with threats that use AI systems
