Senior Data Engineer

About the role

A senior engineering role focused on building and maintaining data processing architectures that turn structured and unstructured data into enterprise insights. The work covers complex problems requiring deep analysis of variable factors.

What you will do

• Create and upkeep scalable pipelines and ETL or ELT processes for enterprise data and analytics.
• Work with stakeholders, analysts, architects and engineers to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Diagnose and fix production data problems while keeping platforms reliable, fast and scalable.
• Support platform modernization, cloud architectures and engineering automation, and mentor other engineers.

What they look for

• At least five years of progressive data engineering experience.
• Advanced SQL skills for modeling, query tuning and large-scale processing.
• Strong Python experience for engineering, automation and pipeline work.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale ETL or ELT solutions.
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling, cloud data platforms, CI/CD, source control and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Healthcare, payer, claims, membership or population health data background.
