Senior Data Engineer (SQL, Informatica)

About the role

Build and maintain data products and pipelines that give analysts and business users one reliable view of data. Work across cloud and on-premises systems with limited supervision.

What you will do

• Advise on data projects of varied complexity and help design and implement data products
• Create data models, flows and building blocks for reporting, feeds and research
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines for streaming and batch data
• Add API integrations to handle growing data volume and complexity
• Prepare and clean data for reporting and AI or machine learning tools
• Apply data governance practices and coach junior colleagues

What they look for

• Experience translating business data needs into technical designs and estimates
• Hands-on work with big data, relational and non-relational databases and cloud platforms
• Knowledge of SQL and Informatica
• Familiarity with code management and architectural and governance guidelines
• Ability to work independently on complex projects with vague timelines
