Senior EHR Analyst

About the role

An advanced analyst role supporting, optimising and developing electronic health record systems, resolving complex issues and guiding less experienced colleagues.

What you will do

• Act as a main escalation point for complex technical problems and system errors, limiting disruption to patient care
• Lead routine maintenance such as software updates, patches and upgrades, and coordinate testing and validation
• Assess workflows with operational partners to find build inefficiencies and drive optimisation requests through governance
• Own relationships with EHR vendor support, tracking open requests and reviewing release notes
• Maintain documentation of configurations and processes, and share knowledge across the team
• Train and mentor junior analysts and end users, and take part in on-call rotations

• Advanced knowledge of EHR capabilities and healthcare business workflows
• Ability to work independently on complex technical issues and lead optimisation efforts
• Experience coordinating projects, tasks and cross-functional teams including IT, clinicians and vendors
• Familiarity with HIPAA rules and handling protected health information
