What you will do

• Lead the design and construction of sophisticated perception systems, including large multimodal foundation models that generalize well acro
• Build and expand synthetic data pipelines and sensor simulation to cover rare edge cases, off-log situations and closed-loop testing
• Transfer capability from large teacher models to efficient real-time onboard perception models using distillation and post-training methods
• Deploy and productionize solutions across autonomous vehicle fleets
• Offer technical leadership and mentor senior and mid-level engineers

What they look for

• Solid grasp of common machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• Hands-on experience designing, training and analyzing neural networks for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, classification, sens
• Strong Python skills, including scientific computing libraries and bindings development

Nice to have

• A track record of designing, training or fine-tuning foundation models such as vision-language models or multimodal transformers for autonom
• Experience with knowledge distillation and model compression to move capability from large offline models to lightweight edge deployments
• Experience with synthetic data generation and multimodal automated labeling systems
