Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

The role spans an established education platform used daily by school districts and a newer cloud-native platform with modern APIs and an AI assistant. The developer shapes architecture and leads AI-first engineering practice.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve core business logic, web applications and databases, including tuning and production fixes
• Design and build features end to end across APIs, modern front ends and cloud infrastructure
• Use Claude Code as the main development environment and improve the shared agent files, skills and workflows
• Contribute to architecture decisions, review code and set quality standards including review of AI-generated code
• Mentor colleagues through code review, pairing and demonstrating AI-first development

What they look for

• Eight or more years of professional software development with senior ownership from design through release and support
• Professional C++ experience in a large, long-lived production codebase
• Strong SQL Server abilities in schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures and query and index tuning
• Production React and TypeScript experience
• Daily hands-on use of Claude Code, including CLAUDE.md files, custom skills, subagents, MCP servers, hooks and parallel sessions

Nice to have

• Agentic workflows beyond personal use, such as Claude Code in CI/CD, automated review or multi-agent development
• Building AI features into products, including LLM integrations, tool use, retrieval or agent functionality
• Multi-tenant SaaS experience with tenant isolation and enterprise requirements
• Kubernetes and Docker experience
