Senior Full Stack Engineer, Customer Service

About the role

Build reliable customer-facing experiences and internal tools for a customer success team. The engineer works across product and support to fix pain points and improve core systems.

What you will do

• Design, test and maintain dependable backend services, owning projects from start to finish
• Build and maintain robust APIs and integrate third-party services
• Work with customer success and engineering to find and fix common customer pain points
• Improve the internal tools and systems the support team relies on
• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to shape features that delight customers
• Track down stubborn bugs and simplify complex flows

What they look for

• Six or more years working with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript and React or React Native
• A strong engineering foundation and a record of shipping reliable services
• Comfort owning projects end to end, including implementation and testing
• Excellent communication in code and in plain language across technical boundaries
• Genuine interest in improving the customer experience, large or small
• Ability to work autonomously and leave systems better than found

Pay

USD 180,000 to 200,000 per year
