Elixir Software Engineer

About the role

Join a product squad building marketing software used by major car manufacturers. You will ship Elixir features to production early and grow your scope over time.

What you will do

• Develop and release product features in Elixir and Phoenix LiveView several times each week
• Contribute your perspective to technical and product discussions and to the roadmap
• Build services that communicate over APIs and RabbitMQ within an event-driven architecture
• Use observability and data to check how changes perform in production and whether they help customers

What they look for

• Solid computer science grounding in data structures, algorithms, complexity and system internals, from a degree or equivalent
• Some professional backend experience, ideally in Elixir or a comparable language, with real motivation to deepen Elixir skills
• Some web development experience, ideally server-rendered interfaces such as LiveView with TailwindCSS
• A habit of writing tested, maintainable code and interest in continuous delivery, TDD, pairing, code review and retrospectives
• A data-driven outlook, caring whether work truly helps customers rather than only whether it ships
• Good judgement when using AI tools, with the grounding to assess their output and avoid poor results
