A software engineering role with strong front-end focus on an assessments team, building accessible and scalable digital learning and assessment experiences for learners worldwide.
What you will do
- Design and build responsive user experiences with React and current front-end practices
- Create accessible, high-performing interfaces for learners and customers
- Work with product, UX and engineering colleagues to turn ideas into features
- Own features from concept through deployment across the full lifecycle
- Use AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and software quality
- Take part in Agile Scrum ceremonies and a collaborative engineering culture
What they look for
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced proficiency with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
- Two or more years with back-end technologies such as .NET or C or similar frameworks
- Experience with cloud and container tools such as AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
- One or more years contributing to DevOps practices such as deployment automation, monitoring or infrastructure support
