Build and customize Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions for enterprise clients, including reverse engineering legacy code and integrating systems. The engineer ensures scalable, reliable implementations.
What you will do
- Design, build and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions that fit business needs
- Reverse engineer existing codebases and propose improvements to legacy implementations
- Integrate ClaimCenter with external systems through robust APIs and frameworks
- Ensure implementations are scalable, performant and reliable
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in ClaimCenter and its integrations
- Support upgrades, migrations and performance tuning work
What they look for
- Over ten years of professional software development experience focused on Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Expert level skills in ClaimCenter configuration and integration development
- Proficiency in Java, ideally version 21, with strong object oriented design knowledge
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot, ideally 3.4.x
- Ability to analyze existing code to extract business logic and improve design
- Knowledge of the Guidewire data model, Gosu scripting and Guidewire Studio
Nice to have
- Guidewire certification such as ClaimCenter Specialist, Configuration Developer or Integration Developer
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Exposure to modern front end frameworks such as Angular or React
- Knowledge of performance tuning in Guidewire implementations
