Senior Hedging Analyst

About the role

Supports a hedging program by running and reviewing derivative trades and the risk controls around them. The role also improves reporting and processes through automation and better data quality.

What you will do

• Carry out approved derivative hedges and oversee each trade from pre-trade checks through settlement and issue resolution
• Act as main point of contact for execution and support questions with internal teams, brokers, counterparties and vendors
• Track positions, market data and deadlines to keep hedges timely and within established controls
• Produce, check and circulate regular hedging, risk and management reports, flagging gaps and improvements
• Examine exposures, sensitivities, profit and loss, hedge results, broker quotes and valuations
• Automate workflows and reporting with Python, SQL and Excel, and help test and roll out system changes
