What you will do

  • Keep HPC clusters and Linux compute servers configured, tuned and running well
  • Help teams design HPC jobs and chase down performance problems on the cluster
  • Install and manage Linux systems and HPC software across on-prem and cloud hosts
  • Apply the same security configuration standards to every Linux machine
  • Build and maintain monitoring and management tooling, and automate deployment where possible
  • Compile, install and configure Linux applications from source on the cluster

  • Five or more years supporting production RHEL-like servers and applications
  • Three or more years with Ansible or similar configuration-as-code tooling
  • Fluent English and Spanish at B2 or C1 level
  • Comfortable building OS images from scratch and building software from source, dependencies included
  • Has remotely managed large on-prem estates with many servers, switches and storage
