Senior Identity Risk and Scam Analyst

About the role

A senior analyst position on a risk analytics team, focused on spotting and reducing account takeover and scam risk across a crypto platform. Data drives decisions that safeguard millions of customers.

What you will do

• Own prevention controls for account takeover and scams, scaling them as products and regions grow
• Set risk success metrics, build reporting frameworks, and prioritise control improvements
• Use data to judge risk and quantify tradeoffs for large customer groups
• Work with product, engineering and data science teams on tailored risk strategies
• Turn analysis into clear recommendations for senior risk and product leaders
• Review alerts on unusual customer and transaction behaviour and act on fraud

What they look for

• Six or more years of hands-on risk work in e-commerce or financial services
• At least two years focused on account takeover and scams in fraud, trust and safety, or account security
• Two or more years analysing data with SQL and Python on large databases
• Skill with BI and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker or Superset
• Able to scope and deliver analytics projects independently while working across teams
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics and crypto fraud trends
