Senior Investigations Training Specialist

About the role

The role helps government and public-sector bodies improve how they investigate and train their staff. You will design learning materials and teach professionals to run thorough, well-documented investigations.

What you will do

• Assess what investigative training clients need and set learning priorities
• Write and refresh curricula, instructor guides, participant materials and exercises
• Teach investigative planning, interviewing, evidence review, documentation and report writing
• Create realistic case studies and simulations matched to client duties
• Set learning goals and measure how well participants understand and perform
• Review content for accuracy and coach instructors and subject experts

What they look for

• Substantial professional experience in investigations, oversight or a closely related area
• Experience designing and delivering training for adult professionals
• Solid grasp of investigative interviewing, case development and documentation
• Ability to turn technical material into clear, useful instruction
• Experience working independently and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong writing, presentation and stakeholder communication skills

• Leading investigative training programs or setting agency training standards
• Supporting federal, state or local government organizations
• Developing instructor-led, virtual or blended learning programs
