Senior People Operations Associate

About the role

Support the whole employee lifecycle at a fast-growing, nationwide healthcare organisation. Help the people team shift from reactive assistance to actively shaping talent and culture.

What you will do

• Serve as first contact for staff questions on leave, pay and policies, handling tickets quickly and kindly
• Manage onboarding and offboarding end to end, including data entry, paperwork and system access
• Administer family, parental, personal and disability leaves with an external vendor, tracking state and federal rules
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, process role changes and produce reports
• Support compliance across all states and liaise with government agencies to meet deadlines
• Own recurring workflows and keep improving them as the company grows

What they look for

• At least two years as a people operations generalist, ideally at a fast-growth startup
• Hands-on experience with onboarding and offboarding processes
• Familiarity with leave administration and multi-state compliance
• Careful handling of confidential employee information
• Comfort working in a remote or New York based setup
