  • Own the 24/7 managed security provider relationship, from escalation paths to service quality and cost
  • Set detection strategy and keep the SIEM healthy: custom detections, alert tuning, wider log coverage
  • Use AI and automation to speed up triage, enrichment, investigation and response
  • Keep incident response playbooks, runbooks and training material current, and track post-incident actions to closure
