Senior Software Engineer, Code Security

About the role

A backend engineering role on a code security team, helping developers detect and fix vulnerabilities in their own code and in the open source components they rely on.

What you will do

• Own team initiatives from design through delivery, shipping with little guidance alongside the technical lead
• Turn systems built by one engineer into team-owned assets through docs, tests and shared review
• Build analyzers that combine rule-based detection with AI reasoning
• Create evaluation harnesses that measure false positives and missed findings against benchmark apps

• Backend engineering experience shipping production systems
• Ability to work across dependency analysis and vulnerability detection
• Skill with evaluation tooling and benchmark testing
• Effective use of AI-assisted development tools with good judgment
