What you will do
- Work with clients and domain experts to scope problems, prototype solutions, test them and move them into production
- Create LLM integrations covering prompts, function calling, structured outputs and retrieval based workflows
- Engage clients directly to learn their workflows, check AI behavior and refine toward production quality
- Collaborate with core engineering teams to turn client specific work into general product features
- Help maintain shared AI infrastructure and monitor live systems for reliability, cost and performance

- At least three years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands on Python experience, the team's main language
- Familiarity with LLM APIs such as Claude or GPT, including function calling and structured outputs
- Comfort using SQL to explore data and build data grounded AI workflows
- Experience with AI assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex
- A track record of taking something from zero to one, with a bias for fast shipping and iteration
Nice to have
- Experience building agentic systems with multi step tool use and orchestration
